Our multi-disciplinary agricultural division manages 4,000 acres of mixed-use land. Arable, woodland, parkland, lakes, and rivers.

We are committed to sustainable land use and devote approximately a third of all land to environmental and countryside stewardship schemes.

"Our aim is to push the boundaries in arable production, while
simultaneously improving the quality of the environment."

Joe Blackstone Head of Agriculture.

Arable Production

The arable area extends to over 3000 acres. Production involves a rotation which includes wheat, barley, beans, linseed, and oil seed rape.

Well qualified and well-trained staff using modern equipment allows us to produce crops with a low environmental impact while all the time remaining compliant with all government and food safety regulations.

"Using the latest know how and technology we aim to produce food in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way."

Andy Brown Arable Forman

Environmental Stewardship

Our management of land extends beyond growing crops and includes countryside stewardship. This involves the management of woodlands, hedges, ponds, lakes, rivers, in a sensitive manner with the aim of encouraging biodiversity and wildlife. This is supported by creating areas of wild flowers margins and planting areas designed to provide farmland birds with food over winter.

"Our work in improving soil condition and biodiversity will allow us to pass on the land to the next generation in a condition of which we can be proud"

Trevor Digby Estate Manager
